RẺSUMẺ
I come from a family of engineers and craftsmen. My grandfather was a clock and instrument maker and my father worked for fifty years on the design and development of high-speed wrapping machines for the UK confectionary industry. Following in my father’s footsteps, I served a full apprenticeship with the Baker Perkins Group of Companies and went on to work on the design and development of special purpose machine tools and food processing machinery. I studied engineering at the Percival Whitley College (UK) and gained a First-Class Final City & Guilds in Machine Tool Engineering; a HNC in Mechanical Engineering and a First-Class Technological Certificate in Machine Tool Design.
My machine shop at Antrim is the best equipped in Dominica. All of my machines, together with an extensive inventory of tooling and measuring instruments, are capable of high precision work. Work given priority status can usually be completed within 24 hours.
The range of work that I can undertake includes:
PRODUCTION LINE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
I am able to assist in the design and development of production line machinery. This can result in cost effective and efficient “low tech” equipment that can be manufactured and serviced locally. I can also assist with sourcing equipment, factory layout & work efficiency studies.
